Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Cabinet Finisher to work in our state-of-the-art woodworking facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking, a keen eye for detail, and expertise in finishing and refinishing custom cabinets. The Cabinet Finisher will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.
Responsibilities:
- Finish Application: Apply stains, paints, and other finishes to custom cabinets using various techniques to achieve the desired look.
- Sanding and Prepping: Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and repairing imperfections before applying finishes.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and match design specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including cabinet makers and designers, to ensure a seamless workflow from construction to finishing.
- Maintain Equipment: Properly clean and maintain finishing tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cabinet Finisher or similar role.
- Skills: Proficient in applying stains, paints, and other finishes. Strong knowledge of wood types and their reactions to different finishes.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Good communication skills to understand and implement design specifications.
