JOB SUMMARY: Oversees maintenance of Casino buildings and grounds. Hands on work, including minor electrical repair, plumbing, and general cleaning
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Understands the operation of the Casino kitchen systems: in order to repair or improve them and /or to assist external vendors in diagnosing problems
- Reports to Facilities Manager/Assistant Facilities Manager regarding any issues or problems that arise on assigned shift
- Make suggestions for improvements to procedures and products used in the Facilities Department
- Maintaining, repairing and assembling furniture, fixtures and equipment
- May execute construction projects from start to finish
- Performs other duties as requested
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in all aspects of commercial building maintenance, including plumbing, minor electrical repair, and carpentry
- Provide a Driving Abstract
- Must have a valid Driver License and Driver’s abstract must not contain any disqualifying events per the NRWC Safe Driver Policy
- Ability to follow through with tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Some administrative ability including record keeping
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Possess excellent decision-making skills
- Demonstrates honesty in the workplace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current knowledge of occupational safety issues
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, while working from ladders and lifts
- Ability to stand or move around continuously for 8 or more hours
- Ability to reach up to a height of 69” while lifting items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled
