Summary

Under limited supervision, perform mechanical assembly, soldering and general operations on difficult and complex subassemblies and final assemblies.

Requirements

• Read and interpret complex mechanical diagrams and instruction sets.
• Build assemblies of high complexity.
• Utilizing a high degree of proficiency, assemble, wire and solder various components within circuits and chassis.
• Perform mechanical assembly of high complexity chassis’ and final assemblies.
• May be required to perform continuity checks and rework.
• Ability to work to IPC Manufacturing Standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School or technical trade school graduate preferred, or training in military service.
• Mechanical assembly and general soldering knowledge.
• IPC Certification preferred.
  
  

Language Skills

• Must be fluent in written English.
• Good interpersonal skills required to interface with various inter departmental personnel.
  
  

Other Skills And Abilities

• Must be knowledgeable and able to utilize all assembly tools such as hand tools, torque drives soldering irons, pliers, cutters, etc.
