Summary
Under limited supervision, perform mechanical assembly, soldering and general operations on difficult and complex subassemblies and final assemblies.
Requirements
- Read and interpret complex mechanical diagrams and instruction sets.
- Build assemblies of high complexity.
- Utilizing a high degree of proficiency, assemble, wire and solder various components within circuits and chassis.
- Perform mechanical assembly of high complexity chassis’ and final assemblies.
- May be required to perform continuity checks and rework.
- Ability to work to IPC Manufacturing Standards.
- High School or technical trade school graduate preferred, or training in military service.
- Mechanical assembly and general soldering knowledge.
- IPC Certification preferred.
- Must be fluent in written English.
- Good interpersonal skills required to interface with various inter departmental personnel.
- Must be knowledgeable and able to utilize all assembly tools such as hand tools, torque drives soldering irons, pliers, cutters, etc.
