- Experience with office software

- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to demonstrate standards of moral character and behavior to serve as an effective role model for students

- Organizes and maintains the library for most effective use by students and the staff.
- Monitors the circulation procedures, checks materials in and out, issues overdue notices, oversees pupil traffic, assists staff and students in selection of materials, keeps circulation records, and trains student assistants as needed.
- Participates in reading programs for students and possesses the ability for positive interaction with students and staff.
- Organizes attractive displays for reading motivation.
- Schedule and facilitate the use of library resources and equipment.
- Facilitate access to digital resources such as educational subscriptions, online databases, and e-book collections.
- Participate in in-service programs as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student and staff records and transactions.
- Train and direct the work of volunteers and student assistants in the library.
- Act as a friendly ambassador for the North Bend School District.
- Possess and maintain a valid First Aid card as required
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance/FBI Background check
- Blood borne Pathogen Training/Hepatitis B Shot Series Training as required
- SafeSchools Training as required
