What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Assistant/Veterinary Assistant position at North County Veterinary Clinic, Inc.?
Kennel assistant needed. Duties include cleaning, feeding and caring for hospitalized and boarding dogs and cats as well as helping with discharging and admitting animals. Responsible for maintaining hospital cleanliness. Other duties include, but are not limited to, answering the phone and assisting with treatments and restraint of animals. Weekends are a MUST (but are shared with other staff members) as is being able to work independently. Weekend hours are split shift. Computer skills are needed but will train. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. This is an entry level position - a great opportunity for a high school or co-op student.

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
