What are the responsibilities and job description for the CTE Supervisor position at North Dakota Career and Technical Education?
Summary of Work
The ND Department of CTE is seeking a collaborative, organized and student-focused leader to support and strengthen career development programs across the state. Key responsibilities include evaluating and approving programs, providing Career Advisor Training, managing counselor credentialing, planning and delivering professional development workshops and coordinating scholarship reports and national recognition programs. You will ensure career development standards and resources remain current and accessible, represent NDCTE on state-wide committees and serve as the primary contact for career development programs across North Dakota.
This position requires strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment. Regular in-state and out-of-state travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education and five years of administrative, program development or teaching experience. Possession of or able to obtain a valid North Dakota professional teaching license.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The Department of Career and Technical Education does not provide sponsorships. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel in and out of the state. Applicant must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds unassisted.
