North Texas Institute of Neurology, Headache & Rheumatology is seeking LVNs for our practice to utilize their clinical expertise both in our clinic and infusion center. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Patient rooming
· Direct patient care to include focused assessment, vital sign assessments, IV insertions, patient comfort care
· Assisting Anesthesia and Neurology Providers
· Inventory management
· Administering infusions per protocol.
· Escorting patient to private vehicles via wheelchair, daily
· Scheduling patients for infusions and follow up appointments.
· Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.
· Promptly managing phone calls and assigned tasks
· Data entry skills and proficient documentation are required in all aspects of this role, as each patient encounter is entered into an electronic medical record (EMR).
· Patient check-out procedures
SKILLS:
· Excellent phone etiquette required.
· IV and venipuncture experience would be preferred, however, it is not a requirement. On the job training can be provided
· Multitasking Master is a must
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing
· Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas or a valid Compact license
· Current CPR certification

WORK EXPERIENCE:
· New Grads welcome
· Experience in Neurology and/or Multiple Sclerosis is a PLUS, but not required.
· 2 years’ experience in a medical office preferred.
