Are you an experienced Medical Front Desk Receptionist? We have a fantastic opportunity within our Frisco/Plano locations.
Medical Front Desk Receptionist Role: The Medical Front Desk Receptionist will be an experienced, energetic, self-starter who will serve patients by greeting and helping them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts. Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider/MA of patient' s arrival. Prepares charts/paperwork for patients. Ensures availability of treatment information by filing, scanning, and retrieving patient records. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information, verifying demographic information.
Requests co-pay and coinsurance from patients at time of arrival. Supports the check-out process of the office. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Medical Front Desk Receptionist Background Profile: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of Medical Office receptionist experience is required Billing experience preferred. The ideal candidate will be friendly, intelligent, hard-working, detail-oriented, and a team player. Fluently speak, read, and write English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Monday – Friday 8: 00 am – 4:30 pm. Medical benefits and PTO available after probation period as well as 401k after one year of employment.
