Position: Human Resources Director

Position Summary: Responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and administration of all human resource programs and functions at the facility, including: recruitment and selection, employee relations, wage and salary administration, training and development, benefit administration, safety, and employee services.
Work Relationships and Scope: Reports directly to the Administrator. Works closely with senior management and all other managers and supervisors at the facility. Due to nature of the position, will work with all employees in the manner that is most convenient to them . Regular contact with external human resource services providers (benefits, etc.) and government agencies (unemployment, OSHA, etc.).
Performance Dimensions: Must be accessible and responsive to the human resource needs and concerns of management and employees. Must possess ability to gain the trust and respect of management and employees. Must maintain and comply with personnel-related governmental record-keeping and administration. Soundness of human resource decisions made regarding employment policies, compensation system, employee benefits, and other HR programs is essential. Must maintain the integrity of confidential employment and business information.
