What are the responsibilities and job description for the Science Lab Aide position at Northland Pioneer College?
Part-Time/Temporary @ NPC means you can work up to 19 hours a week.
We are hiring a Science Lab Aide in Show Low, starting at $16.00/hr. plus tuition waiver
In this position you will be working with bacteria, chemicals, and other potential hazards. PPE is provided and required.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and taking down student experiments
- Laboratory dishes
- Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing
- Shopping for supplies
- Collecting supplies in nature for the labs
- Organizing/reorganizing
- Inventory Maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Arizona Driver License (Class D or better)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
- Ability to self-motivate
Preferred:
- An intense love of science
- Experience in a laboratory or similar
- Currently studying science
