Novant Health is hiring a registered nurse for the day shift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. We’re offering up to a $7,500 relocation bonus.
Our Surgical Services Resource Team is a vibrant community of highly skilled and diverse nurses dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We welcome experienced nurses with PACU, Pre/Post op, and critical care expertise to join our dynamic and close-knit healthcare environment, where you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting patients through their surgical journey.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Responsibilities
- Establish authentic personalized relationships with patients and their chosen support system
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey
- Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with policies and procedures
- Embrace diversity and inclusion to ensure a strong organization capable of providing remarkable healthcare
- Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time
- Foster a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm"
- Promote teamwork, team member engagement, and community involvement
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- PACU Experience Required
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
- One-year of acute nursing experience required.
