Role: Transaction Management Analyst / Data Analyst
W2 Contract: 12 Months (Likely Extension / Possible Conversion)
Location: Hybrid in Houston, TX - 1 Day Onsite (Wednesday)
- This is a hybrid position in Houston, TX, requiring in-office attendance every Wednesday. The selected candidate can work remotely on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Overview:
Work with a leading firm in the energy sector as a Transaction Management Analyst. You will be a key part of a team responsible for managing daily transactions, reporting, and case management. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of customer-related data and contracts. You will use your technical and analytical skills to pull data from back-end systems and prepare various reports. The role offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule with training and collaboration opportunities.
You will…
• Handle daily transactions, including email correspondence and working with utilities.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Work on and resolve cases and sales boards.
• Pull data from back-end tables using SQL queries to support business needs.
• Collaborate and cross-train with other team members.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong technical background with experience pulling data from back-end systems.
• Proven experience with SQL, including the ability to run queries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups and formulas, and macros.
• Experience in a corporate environment.
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule, including attending the Houston office every Wednesday.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Background in a retail energy or retail utility industry.
• Experience with billing, accounting, or customer service.
