The Document Controller is responsible for establishing and managing all document control requirements for the project, providing a key supporting role to the drilling execution team. This role oversees the efficient organization, tracking, and distribution of all project documentation for both Baker Hughes and external suppliers. You will…
• Maintain full ownership of the MDR, ensuring all documents are accurately tracked, updated, and stored.
• Develop, implement, and communicate document control procedures across the project team and supplier base.
• Manage document receipt, review, approval, distribution, and archival.
• Ensure strict revision control and version management for all documents, maintaining data accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely submission of documentation for data capture, drilling operations, and project milestones.
• Monitor compliance with project standards, prepare status reports, and assist with audits.
• Provide up-to-date documentation and records to the Project Manager and drilling execution team.
Required Skills & Experience
• 3-to-5 years in document control or a similar administrative/technical documentation role.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, drilling, and supplier teams.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to take on additional tasks as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
