What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel RN PACU position at NurseStar Medical Partners?
Functions as a team member in all phases of perianesthesia care including Pre-Op, PACU Phase 1, and PACU Phase II. Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients. Teaches patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient in the Perianesthesia departments.

Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Afternoons / 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM / 40 Hour Guarantee / Weekend Rotation Required

REQUIREMENTS
- PACU or ICU experience - REQUIRED
- Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience - REQUIRED
- Certifications don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
- OR license don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
