Additional Details
- 15-20 ppd
- Implements the nursing and medical care plans through utilization of safe and therapeutically effective interventions
- Assists staff to maintain current knowledge and competence in the areas of skin, wound, and ostomy management through orientation, regularly scheduled in-service programs, and review of policies and procedures according to national guidelines
REQUIREMENTS
- One (1) year of Registered Nurse experience and one (1) year direct work experience with wound care patients
- Associate of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- IHS Experience- Preferred
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- BLS (AHA)
- Obtain valid Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or equivalent certification through Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) certification within six (6) months from date of hire and maintain certification
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Any State License
