Essential Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally
- Greet guests and obtain relevant information for Sales Managers
- Assist with hotel tours when guests visit the property
- Coordinate rooming lists and prepare contracts
- Maintain positive relationships with local civic groups and companies
- Ensure accurate communication of client requirements to hotel staff
- Embrace company culture and values
- Perform other duties as required
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant brand-specific Property Management Systems (PMS)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Confidence in presenting to individuals and groups
- Demonstrated knowledge of hotel products and services
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable with change and working under pressure
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred, Hospitality Management degree a plus
- Prior Sales experience preferred, but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regional travel
Hours:
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Light Work: occasional lifting up to 40 pounds and frequent lifting up to 20 pounds
- Physical activities include stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, typing, etc.
Work Environment:
- General office environment with minimal distractions
- Protection from weather conditions, but not temperature changes
