Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers, ensuring excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions accurately, and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to food safety standards
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash registers, and retail math
- Familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus
- Understanding of food safety regulations and fine dining etiquette
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Must be at least 18 years old in compliance with legal requirements
- Certification in responsible alcohol service is preferred
