Summary The Front Desk Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of the front office clerks and assists the assistant general manager with training, scheduling, group maintenance, revenue management, and office inventory by performing the following duties.

Assigns duties on behalf of or per the instruction of the Assistant General Manager and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.Follow-up on group arrivals per rooming lists.Attend weekly group meetings.
Work closely with the sales department regarding group maintenance.Reviews and responds to guest surveys and social and corporate review sites.
Performs check-in and check-out procedures, cashiering, and other clerical duties to relieve front desk clerks during peak periods.
May be asked to work scheduled front desk shifts as needed.Reviews and responds to guest surveys and social and corporate review sites.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment, including public and non-public spaces, including guest rooms.
It routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The work area may occasionally be noisy.

The employee is required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 25 pounds or more.

Position Type This is a full-time position, Non-Exempt. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
In order to be considered for the job, you must have previous experience working with Hilton's ON-Q system and at least one year of overall experience working with Hilton.
Please note that prior Hilton experience is mandatory for this position. Preferred Education and Experience College degree in hospitality, business administration, or similar.
