We are seeking a Medical Receptionist for our premier Oculofacial Plastic Surgery practice. We treat patients with cosmetic and functional concerns of the eyelids, face, tear ducts, and eye socket. We perform a broad range of facial surgeries and non-surgical procedures like botulinum toxin injections, fillers, chemical peels, and laser skin rejuvenation.
The ideal candidate should be pleasant and personable in greeting patients, professional, patient, self-motivated, a quick learner, good at multi-tasking, interested in aesthetics and skin care, and willing to assist in clinic and with procedures when needed. You will play an important role in providing patient-centered care with the highest level of customer service and will join a team that is hard-working, fun, and passionate about our work.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out
- Answer the phone and schedule appointments
- Obtain insurance eligiblity and prior authorizations
- Assist in patient care coordination and referrals with other physician offices
- Assist with social media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
- Room patients and assist with basic patient workups and medical histories
- Take facial photos
- Medical documentation and scribing in EMR
- Maintain medical records, photos, billing, coding, and insurance info
- Assist with clinic procedures (e.g. biopsies, botox, lasers, fillers, and minor surgeries)
- Maintain medical supplies inventory
- Explain procedures, medications, and instructions to patients
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- 2 years of customer service experience preferred
- Minimum high school diploma or GED; college graduate preferred
- Experience with Practice Management software and EMR (electronic medical records)
- Excellent spoken and written English and typing skills
- Previous experience in an aesthetics field or aesthetic medical specialty is a plus
- Any experience with photography, social media, and aesthetician services is a plus.
- Foreign language abilities in Ilocano, Tagalog, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese is a plus
