Working Title Boys and Girls Club -Student Work Study Position Status Part Time Department Enrollment Services General Summary
Ideal candidates will have some experience working with youth ages 6-18 in a similar youth
development program in a facility-based setting. They should be a creative, energetic, patient,
and hands-on person able to effectively communicate and work well with others in a team
capacity.
Specific Position Duties
This high-impact position is responsible for delivering a broad range of programs within a
designated Club. A typical day for a YDP could include participating in any of the following:

- Cooking, Dance, and Music
- Arts & Crafts

- Effectively implement, administer, monitor, and evaluate programs, services, and
appearance of the club at all times.
- Prepare, create, research, and write lesson plans as necessary in specific areas
- Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes
- Promote and stimulate program participation
- Provide guidance and role modeling to members

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass the National Criminal Background Check and Drug Test.
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Experience working with youth and adolescents
- Ability to drive agency vehicles (must be 21 years old)
- Must meet licensing and insurance requirements.
