About The Job
The Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages, forecasting, annual budget process, new project pricing, customer revenue / profitability analysis, and ad hoc analyses and projects to support IML division decision making.

The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.
The base pay range for this position is: $84,000 to $109,000 per year.

About The Job
The Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages, forecasting, annual budget process, new project pricing, customer revenue / profitability analysis, and ad hoc analyses and projects to support IML division decision making.
In This Role, You Will
- Support the business unit’s strategic planning process and consolidation/integration of data/reports across different entities.
- Lead in the development and reporting of monthly financial reports, variance analysis, financial projections, annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and business cases to provide insights on financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for ad hoc projects.
- Responsible for the month-end reporting and analysis process, including the preparation and review of profit and loss statements and KPIs to ensure overall accuracy of the reports.
- Build in-depth variance analysis of actual to budget and/or forecast results for monthly deliverables.
- Apply strong analytical skills to identify the trend and root cause of key business issues & drivers.
- Prepare and design complex ancillary business/financial models and other special projects as needed.
- Understand internal operating systems in order to evaluate performance metrics and provide analyses to influence operational processes and improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with Operations to adjustment Key Performance Indicators to drive business decisions, processes, and optimizations.
- Prepare financial models for strategic initiatives and the development of company analytics and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and simplify processes to improve decision-making.
- Liaise with all business units and the accounting group on financial and operating matters.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and adherence to internal controls.
- Perform with ad hoc requests as needed.

- BS degree in finance or accounting required, MBA a plus.
- 5-10 years of professional experience in a corporate finance environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required.
- Previous work experience within transportation and logistics strongly preferred.
- Strong quantitative / analytical skill set and strong financial modeling capability.
- Strong understanding of three financial statements and associated linkage.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task and prioritize with limited supervision.
- Ability to work effectively across organizational and functional boundaries and simultaneously manage several projects, meeting deadlines as established.
