Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is recruiting for a Program Controller supporting the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center’s Mobile Command and Control Systems (MC2S) Program Management Office. The MC2S branch provides continuity of command capabilities for the US North Command (USNORTHCOM) commander for Defense Support of Civil Authorities. The MC2S branch provides Operations and Support services to include sustainment and modernization activities that provide mission continuity for USNORTHCOM. These services include multi-functional, technical management disciplines associated with the design, development, test, production, fielding, sustainment, and improvement modifications for multiple classified systems.

This is a full-time position located at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado - Work location is fully on-site.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provide quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, and plans).
- Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports.
- Support, coordinate and develop program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews.
- Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
- Provide administrative support functions related to the above duties, to include staff support for the managers and members of the organizational staff. This includes, but not limited to, researching and compiling information pertaining to certain projects/topics, reviews CDRL packages, prepares factual, clear, concise, complete, and appropriately coordinated written communications.
- Inform/brief leadership of all issues of interest that relate to the mission organization.
- Monitor progress toward accomplishment of various tasking and initiatives.
- Support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program events.
- Draft documents for the approval and signature of leadership.
- Disseminates program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organization.
- Coordinates, document, monitor, and support a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings.
- Prepares background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy.
- Ability to maintain scheduling documents and requirements for on-site, report, video and online conferencing set up and execution.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI level clearance
Education: High School diploma
Years’ experience: 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoD OR,
- BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD OR,
- Advanced Degree (MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD
Other Qualifications:
- Knowledge of systems acquisition and program management, combined with administrative skills to support the program office to manage and report on a portfolio of programs and projects.
- Knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and Air Force.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
- Knowledge of support activities that assist the PM in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification: PMP
Years’ experience: 10 years of experience in program/project management or administrative support with 3 years of relevant experience within the Department of Defense (DoD)
Other Qualifications:
- Experience with general operation of Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Experience managing workflows and other artifacts within Jira and Confluence
- MC2S platform experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Previous A&AS experience

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
