Overview
Position Summary
You will be responsible for expanding and maintaining the credit union’s relationship with members by processing electronic ACH payment files, processing check clearing files and returns and processing wire requests.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
To succeed in this position, you must be able to satisfactorily perform common, uncommon and
complex occurrences of each of the following under general supervision from your manager:
- Create, maintain and post Automated Clearing House (ACH), check clearing/returns and process related exceptions.
- Process online banking ACH external transfers.
- Process ACH stop payments and WSUTs.
- Process member domestic and international wire transactions.
- Assist with member check deposits through both the mail and mobile deposit channels.
- Assist with employee support requests related to Zelle and online banking ACH transfers.
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union’s products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union’s policies and procedures and current promotions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED AND Internal: minimum 2 years of work experience in a Representative III role; External: minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar role required.
- Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) or National Check Professional (NCP) designation preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
Physical Requirements
- Physical activities include a combination of constant sitting and hand motion, and occasional standing and walking. These activities are not necessarily performed to the same degree and combination every day.
- Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and a computer mouse and keyboard.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 10 lbs.

Salary Range: $23.92 - $33.14
