Family Child Educator

About the position: Provide services to families with infants/toddlers and pregnant women in a home base setting. These services include visits with the child's parents, primarily in the child's home as well as group socialization opportunities in a classroom. You will focus on parent-child interactions as means to promote positive parenting behaviors, provide research based information around developmental topics, and focus on family well-being to promote healthy family functioning.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- CDA credential (Home Base) OR comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor's degree.
- One year professional experience working with infants, toddlers and families to demonstrate and ensure effective implementation of the home visiting curriculum and promote children's progress in the following; Children with disabilities, Dual language learners, Build respectful, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with families.
Details:
- Full-time 40hr per week
- 48 Weeks per year
- Wage $19.12 per hour
- Access to continuing education
- Regular access to a team, who will support you in all aspects of your duties
If you do not have your education but are willing to obtain it while working, we hire at a provisional rate of $17.00 per hour!
