- Level I H23A: $37,280.75
- Level II H23B: $40,077.79
- Level III H23C: $43,968.62

Minimum Qualifications
Child Welfare Specialist, Level I
- Completion of 90 hours from an accredited college or university
- OR 3 years of experience related to child welfare work
- OR A combination of education and experience
- A bachelor's degree (in any field) to qualify
- OR One year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
- A Master's degree
- OR a Bachelors Degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
- OR Two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
All New Employees will complete the Child Welfare Core Academy Training Program
- Position works closely with Child Protective Services to screen and analyze reports of suspected abuse, neglect, and threats to a child’s safety that are received by the 24-hour statewide Oklahoma Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline
- Assists the caller with providing information regarding the alleged child abuse or neglect; interprets what child abuse or neglect is to the caller; identifies possible child abuse or neglect; and gathers sufficient information to make decisions about the alleged abuse or neglect
- Documents and processes reports received at the Hotline in the Child Abuse and Neglect Information System (KIDS); determines if the allegations require an emergency response and notifying district Child Welfare Services (CWS) personnel immediately when an emergency response is necessary
