What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Clinician position at OLD COLONY YMCA?
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitative Counseling or Social Work preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervised counseling experience.
- Licensed by professional board of practice in counseling, mental health, social work, or alcohol and drug abuse preferred.
- Previous management experience strongly preferred.
- Experience delivering group manualized cognitive behavioral treatment utilizing evidence-based CBT curriculum preferred.
- Must be willing to work with high risk populations including substance abusers, justice involved individuals, and trauma survivors.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Computer proficiency a must that includes Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Some evening availability required.
- Some traveling required for meetings and trainings.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Must submit and pass drug testing upon hire.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend and walk during the work day.
