The Sparks Program is an afterschool program funded by the Department of Children and Families which provides a range of structured and recreational groups activities that occur regularly at both program sites and community locations. Sparks Staff serve as mentors to youth and facilitate group activities.
Job Functions:
Provides direct supervision to a group of adolescents in a therapeutic afterschool setting. Creates positive, nurturing relationships with adolescents, while building cooperative relationships with parents/caregivers. Promotes and supports the potential of all adolescents in programs and facilitates peer-to-peer connections as part of the overall afterschool experience.
All training will be provided.
Applicants must be over 21 yrs. old and will be subject to a Background Check.
Lived experience or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
