Busser

Responsible for removing all the used dishes and tableware and preparing the table in a professional manner for new guests. This role serves to expedite the restaurant floor and meet the needs of customers in a prompt and friendly fashion. This is a Full Time/ Part Time position with a pay range of $15.50 - $17.00 per hour.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Always be happy, friendly and smiling. Make sure to leave any personal problem at the door when you come to work
• Be professional and respectful to everyone
• Always make yourself available to customers for any needs they may have
• Keep restaurant clean at all times including but not limited to tables, floors, bathrooms, lobby, counters, pictures, visible exterior of building, etc.
• Answer the phone and take appropriate action for the call
• Accurate order taking. Always repeating order back to customers to ensure accuracy
• Pre-bus and bus tables as soon as possible to ensure the customers experience is "As Good as Gold". Always make sure to not throw away silverware, or soufflé cups, etc.
• Keep the dishes clean and put away in the correct locations, being careful not to break glassware while washing
• Be available to assist the servers when they need drinks, salads, etc.
• Bring food that is ready in the kitchen to the front for dine in and take out customers
• Perform appropriate opening tasks
• Perform proper closing tasks (409ing tables, sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, cleaning arcade, bathrooms, etc.)
• Perform slow time tasks

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• California Food Handler Card
• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.)
• Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred
• High energy and stamina are required
• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
• Strong verbal communication skills required
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
• Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family
• Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents
