Description
CONTROLLER
This position is responsible for supporting firmwide financial tasks and controllership. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be a part of a mid-size law firm with opportunities for growth and development. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to work with several offices across our multi-state organization. The position will report to the Firm Administrator.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
- Firmwide budgeting
- Ensure invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable are recorded correctly and timely
- Cost control and expense management
- Bi-Weekly Payroll
- Prepare income tax, workman’s comp reports and returns for all offices across the firm
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- At least ten years of accounting experience with controllership experience at a ~$20M revenue business.
- Strong understanding and full competency working in QuickBooks online
- Ability to adapt to new software and technologies
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational, proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, analyze, organize, attend to detail, and follow through.
