Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced, committed and passionate Die Cutting Operator to join our great team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of printing and operated as a die cutting pressman. The person will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring and operating a die cutting machine: dismantle previous job, logs impressions on saved jobs with date, press and chase number, or dispose of dies as marked, pull samples and glue set to check for accuracy, according to the specifications. The Die Cutting Operator will focus on continuously checking for accuracy and quality, monitor the machine and correct problems as they occur. The person will be responsible for the quality of the die cutting of finished products.

Responsibilities
- Adjust, and operate die cutting machine preparing all processes required (ex. Stripping, blanking).
- Ensure total quality of the job while in operation.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and demonstrate team work spirit.
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years related experience as a die cutting pressman. Printing/packaging industry experience is desirable.
- Mechanical know-how
- Trouble shooting mind set
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Attention to detail and excellent close vision
- People oriented
