Senior Casualty Adjuster

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Casualty Adjuster to take ownership of high-exposure, muti-million-dollar casualty claims. This role is ideal for professionals with deep technical knowledge in general liability (GL), auto liability, and catastrophic injury claims. The successful candidate will play a critical role in litigation strategy, claim resolution, and stakeholder communication, managing complex matters involving severe injuries, class actions, and large-scale property damage. This is an opportunity to be a key decision-maker in high-severity claims and contribute meaningfully to a high-performing claims team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of complex, high-value casualty claims, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, multi-vehicle accidents, and product liability losses.
• Analyze and interpret coverage under commercial general liability and auto policies, including excess layers.
• Develop and implement robust claim strategies, including coverage analysis, liability assessment, damages evaluation, and negotiation tactics.
• Direct litigation strategy in collaboration with defense counsel, ensuring cost-effective and results-driven legal outcomes.
• Lead settlement negotiations, including participation in mediations, settlement conferences, and direct negotiations with top-tier plaintiff attorneys.
• Present large-loss files and disposition strategies to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of file developments, exposure evaluations, and resolution plans.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with insureds, brokers, claimants, and attorneys to manage expectations and ensure transparency.
