Olivet College is accepting applications for future adjunct opportunities in writing.
Courses are taught face-to-face and held on Monday/Thursday OR Tuesday/Friday. No night classes.
Responsibilities: Teach and hold office hours for one or two classes of Research and Writing, Academic Writing, or Foundations of Writing. Instructors have flexibility in designing lessons and activities, though we use a common text and common signature assignments.
Requirements: Candidates must hold an MA, MFA, or PhD in Composition and Rhetoric, Writing, English, English Education, or a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in writing. Experience teaching at any level is preferred. We are looking for teachers who are excited about working with first-year students and who have an engaging style and excellent communication skills.
