- Evening $3.00/hour
- Night $5.00/hour
Premiums:
- Weekend Premium $4.50/hour
- Standby Premium $4.00/hour
- Per Diem Premium 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)
- Certification Premium $2.00/hour
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Will work within the goals and objectives established by the departmental management team to provide quality customer service and courier service to patients served by Olympic Medical Center Laboratory. Responsible for outpatient registration, test ordering, processing of outpatient laboratory specimens, hospital and outpatient phlebotomy, answering customer service calls, providing efficient courier services, and other customer service responsibilities as assigned.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience
Efficient keyboarding skills and experience with Lab and Hospital information systems is desirable.
Licensure/Credentials
Able to obtain Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy Certification after completion of approved AIDS education. If acting as a courier: Valid Washington driver’s license. Driving record in compliance with OMC standard. Specifically, an employee will not be permitted to operate a company vehicle if his/her driving record is not in compliance with the requirements of HR Policy 3.12 if the employee’s driving record from Department of Motor Vehicles includes any of the following: 1. Conviction for driving while impaired (DWI) within the last two years; 2. Conviction for vehicular homicide, reckless driving, hit and run, racing or other major offence within the last two years. 3. Suspension or revocation of driver’s license during the last two years. 4. Conviction of more than three ordinary traffic violations or more than two preventable accidents in the last two years, or more than three moving violations in the last twelve month period.
