Reporting to senior operations leadership, this role ensures that standards, systems, and expectations are consistently executed at the restaurant level while developing high-performing management teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.This is a hands-on, field-driven leadership role that translates strategy into disciplined execution. The Director of Operations directly oversees General Managers and partners closely with cross-functional leaders to drive results across multiple locations. This role is accountable for achieving both financial and qualitative performance targets through ongoing coaching, development, and training of restaurant-level leadership teams.The ideal candidate brings both operational rigor and strong leadership presence, with the ability to balance creativity, culture, and structure. This individual will uphold and evolve the organization’s ethos—ensuring values are consistently reflected in people, processes, decisions, and daily operations—while supporting continued growth and scalability.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & QualityOversee daily operations across all locations, ensuring consistent execution of FOH and BOH standardsEnforce systems and procedures related to service, food quality, preparation, inventory, cleanliness, and safetyPartner with culinary leadership to support menu execution, tastings, quality control, and operational rolloutsSupport beverage execution in collaboration with beverage leadership, ensuring service standards, cost controls, and profitability targets are metIdentify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities without compromising brand standards or guest experienceOversee facilities management across all locations, including preventive maintenance, vendor relationships, and landlord coordinationFinancial & Labor PerformanceExecute operating plans aligned with annual and quarterly budgetsAnalyze P&Ls, sales trends, labor metrics, and operational KPIs to drive performance and corrective actionPartner with General Managers to optimize staffing models, scheduling practices, and productivitySupport labor controls, payroll accuracy, and financial discipline at the unit levelTranslate financial insights into clear, actionable expectations for management teamsLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop General Managers and management teams through regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and consistent on-site presenceDrive management recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention in partnership with HR and senior leadershipEnsure managers are operationally disciplined, financially literate, and guest-focusedChampion training programs and ensure consistent execution of onboarding and leadership development initiativesFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementHR, Systems & CompliancePartner with HR to support the full employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and complianceEnsure adherence to all local, state, and federal labor, safety, and sanitation regulationsEnsure proper adoption and effective use of operational systems, including POS, scheduling, inventory, and reservation platformsIdentify gaps in training, process, or systems and lead solutions in partnership with cross-functional teamsGuest Experience & Brand ExecutionServe as a visible ambassador of the organization’s hospitality philosophy and brand standardsSupport execution of marketing initiatives, promotions, and events at the unit levelMonitor guest feedback and partner with leadership teams to address opportunities and elevate serviceEnsure each concept maintains its unique identity while meeting shared operational and hospitality standardsNew Openings & Special ProjectsServe as operational lead for new restaurant openings, owning execution from pre-opening through post-opening stabilizationPartner with culinary, beverage, service, and development teams to ensure operational readiness, staffing, training, and systems executionSupport implementation of opening timelines, checklists, and performance plansLead special operational projects that drive scalability, consistency, and continuous improvement across the portfolioQualifications8–10 years of progressive restaurant leadership experience, with multi-unit oversight strongly preferredExperience in chef-driven, hospitality-focused conceptsStrong financial acumen including P&L ownership, labor management, and cost controlsDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold management teams accountableHighly organized, detail-oriented, and results-drivenComfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredStrong working knowledge of service, beverage, food safety, and sanitation standardsProfessional presence with a collaborative, people-first leadership styleSuccess MetricsConsistent operational execution and brand standards across all locationsAchievement of sales, labor, and profitability targetsStrong engagement, development, and retention of General Managers and leadership teamsImproved guest satisfaction, service consistency, and operational disciplineCandidate ProfileBalances entrepreneurial thinking with structure, systems, and scalable processesBrings a strong ownership mentality and high accountabilityPassionate about coaching, developing, and leading high-performing teamsAble to move seamlessly between strategy, data analysis, and hands-on executionDemonstrates integrity, resilience, and emotional maturityOpen to feedback and committed to continuous improvementInfluences and collaborates effectively across all levels of the organizationConsistently represents the organization’s culture and values as a brand ambassador#AA
