One Vision is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Services Director for our Northeastern Region which includes Osage, Mason City, and Nora Springs.
As a One Vision Assistant Services Director, with support from the Regional Service Director, you will be responsible for and have functional authority for the oversight of HCBS residential services along with, but not limited to:
- Oversees the hiring, placement, transfer, orientation, evaluation, and progressive discipline of employees within assigned team.
- Conducts investigations and fact finding within assigned team.
- Promotes the health, safety, and welfare of all employees and persons served within assigned team.
- Ensure services meet or exceed professional, national accreditation, Iowa Administrative Code rules, and certification requirements.
- Promote healthy relationships between staff and people served.
- Oversees, monitors, and participates in the orientation and ongoing training of employees within assigned team.
- Assist with development and revision of policies and procedures and provides training on updated policies and procedures.
- Maintain appropriate communication with persons served and others.
Qualifications:
- BA in Human Services field preferred or at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in human services field.
- Three years of verifiable experience in supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Supervisory Experience required.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Must possess the ability to work on-call and appropriately respond to emergencies.
- Must be an intermediate level use of software: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Requires some physical activity bending, kneeling, stooping. Lifting or use of lifts for some individuals.
- Offer of employment is contingent upon background check, drug screen, physical assessment to occasionally lift to 50 pounds.
