Are you an early riser looking to earn extra income while making a difference in your community? We have the perfect opportunity for you! One Vision is seeking dependable, energetic individuals to join our Wellness Center team as Part-Time Lifeguards, with shifts starting bright and early at 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.

In this role, you'll do more than just guard a pool-you'll bring a little joy and safety to every splash, greeting residents of Glen Oaks and individuals receiving One Vision services with a smile and dependable support.

What You'll Do:

• Open the pool facility and maintain a clean, safe environment

• Build positive relationships with community members and visitors

• Monitor pool and spa areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness

• Perform water testing and record results accurately

• Keep locker rooms and poolside areas neat and welcoming

• Be the go-to person for swim lessons, birthday parties, and more

We Provide the Training:

• No lifeguard certification? No problem! We'll train you in CPR, First Aid, and help you earn your Lifeguard Certification at no cost.

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years or older

• Strong swimming skills, including:

  • Swim 300 yards (freestyle and breaststroke)

  • Tread water for 2 minutes without hands

  • Retrieve a 10-pound object from 7-10 feet and swim it back in under 1 min 40 sec

• Dependability is key - facility opens at 6:00 a.m. sharp

• Willingness to complete CPR/First Aid training

• Previous experience (or personal familiarity) with individuals with disabilities is a plus

Schedule & Perks:

• Part-Time shifts available:

  • Weekdays: 6am-10am, 10am-2pm, 2pm-5pm, 5pm-8pm

  • Weekends: Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-5pm (including birthday parties and lessons)
