Job Summary
The Operations Associate is responsible for implementing process and activities in support of RS products and services. The Retirement Services Operations department provides support to the division by processing payroll and maintenance contribution transactions to meet department goals, assist with resolving internal and external issues that negatively impact our ability to deliver division results, and leads by example to contribute to the organizational key results.
Key Responsibilities
- Process contribution related tasks.
- Reviews and responds to requests promptly and accurately.
- Interacts indirectly with participants and brokers addressing inquires and requests.
- Identifies process and quality improvement efforts and collaborates on process improvements across multiple areas.
- Works autonomously within established procedures with limited supervision.
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships with peers, with a focus on gaining an outside-in perspective.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience preferred.
- Prefer 2 years retirement services experience
- Effective communication skill
- Working organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong client service skills
- In-depth analytical skills
- Ability to utilize a variety of types of computer software
- Ability to work under pressure during peak season workflow
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Salary Band: 03A
This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
