Supervisory Responsibilities
- None.
- Performs all tasks safely and responsibly.
- CNC programming of Holzher CNC router (CAD/CAM a plus).
- Load and unload the router.
- Initiate programs and operate CNC for best quality output.
- Read and interpret plans, sketches, and shop drawings.
- Work with designers and management to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality.
- Responding to quick turn-around orders.
- Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Determine the type and dimensions of wood stock to be used.
- Nesting to minimize waste or raw stock.
- Maintain and clean both the equipment and work area.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Engineering and Technology — Be able to apply principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Understand and interpret router files.
- Oversee cutting strategies to maintain precise cutting and bit life.
- Strategize the best use of new and remnant materials.
- Load and unload sheet goods onto the router bed.
- Clean, trim, deburr, and collate finished pieces.
- Maintain machines according to the maintenance schedule.
- Communicate problems and progress to technical management.
- Assist other departments when time allows.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Proficient with tools and construction materials.

- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1-4 years of experience preferred.
- Forklift experience.
- Repetitive use of feet and hands
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to push and pull upwards of 75 lbs. repeatedly
