Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, and Backup positions available
- Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour (Rate varies based on experience and the specific service provided)
- Work Location: In-person, in-home, and community-based settings
Role Overview:
The In-Home Caregiver supports individuals receiving services by providing assistance that promotes independence, inclusion, and personal growth. This role involves:
- Supporting individuals in developing and strengthening skills for greater independence in their daily lives
- Assisting with independence goals outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP)
- Providing support in the home and community to foster engagement and meaningful experiences
- Ensuring accurate documentation of services provided, including progress notes and time sheets
- Performing duties ethically and in compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and Medicaid guidelines
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Minimum age of 18 years (Required)
- Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation (Required)
- Bilingual ENGLISH/SPANISH (Preferred)
License and Certification:
- Drivers License (Required)
- CPR Certification (Required)
Physical Demands:
- Work occurs in various home and community settings, which may vary in housing style, temperature, and accessibility
- Ability to assist individuals with daily living activities and provide physical support as needed
