2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Onin Staffing is currently in search of an 2nd Shift Supervisor. This position will oversee production & operations of the facility.

$19-$21 per hour

Days/Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6a-7pm (But needs to be available at other times if needed)

• The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities of production workers in processing materials and operations
• Interacts with Sanitation, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, and Operations staff to insure the production of products meeting quality standards
• Supervises and manages activities directly related to the daily business and department needs;
• Provide immediate supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules
• Mentors and leads production associates & shift managers
• Ensure associates are trained for and compliant with all applicable operations
• Assigns duties and operations based on daily department needs
• Ensures quality products are produced and department metrics are achieved
• Effectively communicates daily schedules, goals, quality concerns between shifts to ensure expectations are met
• Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and trainings
• Safeguards and maintains company equipment and property
• Participate in Safety Investigations after an accident and give recommendations
• Ensures all areas are kept clean at all times;
• Attends all company training sessions
• Adheres to all Food Safety/Quality SOP’s
• Reports to the Plant Manager

• Minimum of 3 years managing or supervising employees in a manufacturing production environment

• Good work history and ability to learn

• Computer skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Decision making and problem solving skills
