What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Onin Staffing?
This is an amazing foot-in-the-door opportunity to get full-time pay and affordable health insurance after just 30 days. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:00pm
$13.00/hour
What you'll do as a custodian:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures
Work Experience
The preferred candidate might have:
- Proven experience as a custodian, janitor, or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
