What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Tech - Emergency Vehicles position at Onin Staffing?
Installing all equipment necessary to modify brand-new vehicles into police and emergency vehicles. This includes routing and installing wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, component trays, and consoles
Disassembling and reassembling factory vehicles
Being expected to read drawings, including electrical schematics with limited help.
Work Experience
Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment that may require heavy physical duties. Work will involve frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling. Fieldwork may be required at times as well as varying work hours. Some overtime may be required.
Will be expected to supply their own set of tools commonly used in the performance of automotive repair work. Time will be given to new employees to purchase these items after hire if required.
Can lift up to 50 pounds; Be a constructive team player and possess and exhibit a positive attitude; Be detail-oriented and focused on quality workmanship; Be comfortable in an exciting fast-paced environment.
