Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY, is accepting applications for an adjunct instructor in our Culinary Management program, teaching FSA-235 & FSA-235L:
Event/Catering Management provides the student an opportunity to explore the functions of planning, developing, budgeting, marketing, and evaluating meetings and special events. This course will provide the fundamentals for executing the management of special events and catering. This course will have a lab component throughout the semester (dates TBD).

- Prerequisite(s): FSA 100, FSA 103B, and FSA 103C.
- Co-requisite: FSA 235L. - Must be taken at the same time as this course.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- AAS Hospitality Management, AAS Culinary Management, or AOS Culinary Arts from a regionally accredited college or university.
- BS Hospitality Management, BS Culinary Management, BS Catering
- Experience with D2L Brightspace or comparable LMS.
- Bilingual In English and Spanish.
- English and other languages considered.
- Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $1,483/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment.
- Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
