Our team is looking for a Production Control Planner to join them. You will report to the Production Planning Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.
The Production Control Planner will plan, coordinate and track production material requirements for aircraft products. Utilizes MRP system to plan, create and release work orders to the shop floor to meet
shipping dates according to customer orders and other dependent demands. Monitors
MRP system for inventory levels needed in a make to order and make to stock
environment in support of both new production and MRO (FAA repair station)
requirements. Work closely with purchasing to procure delivery of products needed for
production, interface with various departments to support manufacturing and on-time
delivery.

To be considered for the Production Control Planner opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Education/Certification: 12 grade or equivalent, APICS certification helpful
- Must have 3 years experience in production control planning
- Must have good working knowledge of Manufacturing processes and ERP systems.
- Must have strong MRP skills and working knowledge of APICS practices.
- Must have a clear understanding of multi-level bills of materials, MRP Demand and
- Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate with good working knowledge of Excel and Word, (Access
- Preferred experience in aerospace environment.
- Ability to read blueprints would be helpful.
- Will plan, coordinate and track production material requirements for aircraft products.
- Utilizes MRP system to plan, create and release work orders to the shop floor to meet shipping dates according to customer orders and other dependent demands.
- Monitors MRP system for inventory levels needed in a make to order and make to stock environment in support of both new production and MRO (FAA repair station) requirements.
- Work closely with purchasing to procure delivery of products needed for production, interface with various departments to support manufacturing and on-time delivery.

- Creating and release of work orders to the shop floor, in a timely manner.
- Creating and maintaining process flow charts for key, critical, or new products where applicable.
- Schedule, prioritize and monitor production processes, material availability and work closely with various departments to meet delivery dates.

Manufacturing Lead-time This Involves But Not Limited To
- Creating and release of work orders to the shop floor, in a timely manner.
- Schedule, prioritize and monitor production processes, material availability and work closely with various departments to meet delivery dates.
- Reviews forecast orders and adjust build schedule/ work orders accordingly.
- This position may be asked to take on additional task when relevant.
