Key Responsibilities :
Develop a comprehensive, insightful commercial perspective on market disruptors, competitor forces, and industry trends, with a focus on healthcare dynamics, clinical advancements, and scientific progress.
Lead the Competitive Intelligence (CI) strategy for specific therapeutic areas, providing actionable insights to shape both short- and long-term franchise strategies.
Design and execute CI plans by gathering intelligence from both primary and secondary sources , managing vendor relationships, and translating findings into strategic business recommendations.
Oversee company-wide CI efforts at key events (e.g., EULAR), consolidating critical insights and presenting actionable implications to leadership.
Serve as the organization’s go-to CI expert , utilizing your deep knowledge of methodologies and internal / external data sources.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams , integrating clinical, medical, and regulatory insights into the CI process to drive more informed strategic decision-making.
Ensure all CI activities align with ethical and financial compliance guidelines .
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in life sciences or a related field is a plus. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred, with a Master’s or PhD in life sciences seen as an added advantage.
3–5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry in a commercial, clinical, or competitive intelligence role (or equivalent management consulting experience).
Proven ability to effectively present findings , both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences, including senior executives and product teams.
Demonstrated success working in a matrixed environment , fostering collaboration across various functions and stakeholders.
