We’re hiring an IT Project Manager for a 100% remote opportunity supporting our client. This is a 6-12 month contract with the possibility of extension. Candidates in the Central Time Zone are preferred.

Join our client’s dynamic team as a Project Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in steering projects focused on risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements. This position requires a seasoned professional adept at managing large-scale projects and collaborating seamlessly with other project managers. Onward Search offers benefits for 40-hour work weeks and weekly paychecks (W2) for the duration of the contract.

IT Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Spearhead multi-year, high-budget projects and strategic initiatives across diverse business units and external partners.
• Implement and uphold project management best practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Develop comprehensive business cases for critical project components, analyzing and summarizing key project data such as phases, duration, tasks, costs, and resource needs.
• Craft detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Define and manage project scope, including processes for scope change and deliverable approval.
• Monitor and report on project status, addressing and escalating issues that could impact timely and quality delivery.
• Collaborate with information security specialists to track and prioritize vulnerability remediation, ensuring project security assessments are completed before go-live.

IT Project Manager Qualifications:

• Over 8 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in Identity Access Management (IAM).
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity, IT, risk, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, and Jira.
• Experience in managing information security, IT, and infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; PMP certification and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
