π What You Bring to the Table:
β 5 years of experience in a Materials or Logistics Management role
β Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, with a problem-solving mindset
β Experience in JIT environments β Tier 1 knowledge is a strong asset
β APICS certification or formal training in supply chain processes
β Proficiency in SAP or other MRP systems
β Familiarity with automotive standards: IATF 16949, CSR, ISO 14001
β Knowledge of DCX material flow and Covisint systems
β Strong grasp of JIS processes
β A hands-on leadership approach and excellent communication skills
π Your Key Responsibilities:
Production & Scheduling
- Lead production scheduling to ensure 100% on-time delivery in a JIT/JIS setting
- Balance inventory levels to meet operational KPIs while minimizing cost
Material Management
- Monitor and adjust material requirements daily/weekly
- Support launch activities, including PPAP and PSO preparations
- Supplier & Customer Coordination
- Serve as the main logistics liaison with suppliers, customers, and internal procurement teams
- Quickly resolve any delivery, quality, or flow issues
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor logistics team members across all shifts
- Promote a consistent, high-performing culture
- Shipping, Receiving & Warehousing
- Oversee inbound/outbound freight, warehouse operations, and warranty return processes
Compliance & Auditing
- Maintain adherence to company policies and all relevant safety and environmental standards
- Lead or participate in internal/external audits (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, etc.)
- Safety & Environmental Leadership
- Champion safe work practices; enforce PPE use and have authority to halt production when safety or quality is at risk
Continuous Improvement
- Drive lean logistics initiatives and 5S implementation
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains
- Technology & Communication
- Ensure accurate system access and seamless digital/logistical communication across all partners
