Dixon is looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Chestertown, MD on first shift! In this position you will perform a variety of manufacturing duties that will include set-up and operating automated saws, operate a crane and prepare parts to run on CNC machines. Candidates should be able to read a measuring scale and forklift driving experience is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate automated saws
- Operate a crane
- Prepare parts to run on CNC machine
- Maintain accurate part counts
- Read blueprints
- Keep shop clean and organized while operating a ride along floor cleaner
Competencies:
- Ability to do basic data entry
- Basic math skills
- Be able to lift 70 pounds during the course of a shift
- Forklift experience is preferred
