Dixon Specialty Products - Creekside is looking for a Welder to join our team in Chestertown, MD. The primary function will be production welding for the DSP product line including swivel joints, GSM couplings, and SS Metal Hose. Primarily TIG and MIG welding of CS, SS, and Aluminum parts. Previous welding experience is required. If you have mechanical aptitude and are looking for a career, this could be the opportunity for you! RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete production welding on time
- Follow shop orders and prints
- Operate shop equipment as needed
COMPETENCIES:
- Experience welding both MIG & TIG
- Welding certification preferred but not required, must be able to become certified
- Machine Shop or metal working experience
- Team player
- Lift 70 lbs. during the shift
- Work with minimal instruction
- Stay on task and communicate well with others
