Position overview:
The Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for adjusting jobs on the production board,
expediting, and following expedited job orders through the manufacturing processes, and
maintaining trackers.

- Schedule job orders to maximize on-time performance, while minimizing downtime.
- Coordinate changes with the Production Leads to maximize production efficiencies while

- Identify jobs to expedite/pull in by utilizing reports.
- Maintain regular, open communication with the Direct Sales customer service team and

- Collaborate with Production Leads to uncover any identified obstacles within manufacturing
- Collaborate with Production leads on all running machines and reprioritize where necessary
- Work with Customer Service and the Supply Chain Buyer when cancellation requests arise,

- Combine jobs where possible if raw materials and tooling are available, to maximize
- Ensure proper management and processing of partials/balances on job orders when
- Ensure proper closure of completed job orders.
- Provide production status updates to the Planning Manager.
- Act as a liaison between Production and Customer Service to communicate production

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in operations, Supply Chain, or other relevant field, or equivalent work
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Production and Inventory Control, Operations,
control and production planning environment desired.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a basic manufacturing plant.
- Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines with internal and external
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Has a solid knowledge base for managing and maintaining appropriate inventory and safety
